  • Importing an image sequence

Imported a time-lapse of JPegs no problem, after looking at the sequence I wanted to cut a few frames out so I found the individual stills and deleted them (in the Finder) I re-imported and when I come to watch (and render) the deleted frames actually come up in the sequence as the general colour bars as they do when any media is missing. I take it AE looks at a sequence and if there are any numbered frames missing it will include them in anyway and flag them as missing media??

If I was to delete frames again in the Finder where the sequence is located is there a way in AE to import the sequence and not get those dropped frames?

I know I can just cut them in the Timeline but was just curious if there was a workaround to this?

    Thanks

Import the sequence and check the “Force Alphabetical Order” box.

    Mr. Lucas
Import the files with “Force alphabetic order” checked as Mr. Cuevas has said. This will skip the missing frames from the sequence.
