  Live event audio latency

  I do a lot of “high school gym meetings” projecting video from Playback Pro, a live camera and Powerpoint presentations via a Kramer VP 728 and/or a Kramer VP724DS. I’m wanting to connect the two Kramer units to give me some more inputs. The output of the Kramer feeds a UXGA DA that then goes to a confidence monitor and the projector. I also connect the projector via HDMI.
  The audio is all sent to the mixer that feeds the PA system.

  My question is, “if I see an objectionable amount of audio latency what type of audio processor should I be looking at to tweak the latency issue?”

  I think you mean video latency. This is pretty easily handled through a digital mixer. You can usually expect a frame a delay for every scan converter you go though.
