I was wondering if it was possible to render a playable 4 minute video in this format. It should be played in a loop on 360 degree screen projected with 8 beamers and soft edge technology. Screen height is 2500mm and perimeter is 30473 mm. Though I’m not responsible for the installation at the event, I`m “only” responsible to render this film.
I tried quicktime mov inconjunction with foto-jpeg codec out of After Effects and media encoder. The 3 second test is not playing stable, some times it shows only a blank screen (and also I exported blank jpg-sequences for test purposes out of this video)

Media like this is rarely played back from a single machine. You need technical information on the playback device in order to deliver the media appropriately.

    Hi,

From my experience with domes and 360 deg. videos, it will be better to split the videos into sections. Than you would have to play 2-3 videos on each machine – using software to synchronize them.
