    Hello everyone,

I need to project a series of one-liners on to 3×1.5 ft screens. They are video clips (as opposed to image files) as they appear “typed” on stage.

I had prepared them using FCP. The text is black against a white background. I am using times new roman (It has to look as if it was typed by a typewriter).

I wonder if any of you guys may have any tips on what’s the best way to prepare the files (resolution, size, etc.) I am experienced on projection design but I always find text so difficult!

    Cheers!

    Try Courier, not Times.

The answer depends on the resolution of the projector and the playback system you’re using for the media files.
