    Salutations!

    (Newbie to Creative COW)
I am working on a set up for the college I work at and trying to develop an affordable and functional system for doing 3-4 camera set up for live events.

Currently we have 2 JVC GY-HM100U’s & a Sony XD cam – and will be purchasing a JVC 700 or 750. What I’m hoping to accomplish is a 3-4 camera system that isn’t too space consuming that we can use to broadcast events.

What would be a good switcher that either supports HD-SDI?

With HD based systems is sync/black burst a necessity? – We are just beginning to step into the HD world and I know the HM-100s don’t allow for a sync… will that be an issue?

Is there anything that makes configuring a system easier/does anyone have any good information on simple systems like this?
