  AE CS6 Lock Mask Shape view hide/show not functioning

  I searched for articles and such for similar issues but found none.
  I will post this to Adobe feature request/bug report page if others have same issue.

  In prior versions of Adobe After Effects, if I locked a mask, AE would hide the mask path clearing my view to do additional work with that particular mask path hidden. I cannot get this to function properly in CS6.

  are you having a similar issue?

  This is occurring in each of our copies of AE CS6.

  You have to right-click the layer and go to Mask>Hide locked masks to get it to work. HTH

  Sure thing. To be honest, I couldn’t remember where that option is either, I had to look it up.
