  Problems with SDI out

  Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but here goes.

  Where I work I’m trying to get SDI output from a datavideo se-800, but when I plug it on a SDI capable monitor it looks distorted and with green horizontal lines covering all the image.

  I also have an AJA Kona on the computer I work with, if I plug the SDI out to the monitor it looks perfect (so I discarded the monitor) and if I plug the datavideo on the aja kona it seems to recognize the video coming out of it on and off (it intermitently changes from 525i29,97 to no video).

  I’m thinking the SDI out on the datavideo might be busted, but I’d like your opinions on the subject.

  NOTE: I’ll try to upload a pic of the display when I can.
