    Hi,

I am looking for some advice. We have been asked to film a red carpet corporate event. People will be interviewed on the red carpet which needs to be filmed and be fed live to a projector inside the location. Later on the event indoors needs to be filmed and fed to the projector live for everyone to see.

All this needs to be captured as well for editing to short clips later. Am assuming that this can be done direct to tape in the camera while using some type of wireless transmitter receiver system.

The main issue right now is the budget. What is the most cost effective option? Is it possible to use prosumer mini dv or hd cameras in this situation?

We obviously need it to be a reliable option.

We will be using no more than two cameras.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks

    you will need an Intercom…

SOny´s Z1 are the most used Cameras by VJs (Videojournalists), You also can use the cheaper FX1, but Z1 ist preferred because of the professional XLR-ins.

But if you are on budget, keep away from cheapy wirelesssystems. They don´t work if a lot of crowd is around. (In testsituations without people it could work)
The other problem is the time differenc between Picture and sound, I assume that the sound comes live from the sounddivision, than you are far off with the screens picture. If you don´t have the money for professional linksystems go for cabels

    multimedia and special events
