    Alright Cows…

Whats out there to accomodate a multi-cam live shoot when cabling to a switcher is not an option. I just assumed, like camera-mounted wireless audio, that there would be a multitude of choices. Apparently mistaken…

Anybody using the Titan Wireless/Transvideo equipment? Other brands?

    Application:
    3-4 Cameras
    Live Broadcast Sporting Events.
    Max throw-say, 1000′.

I’d love to say price doesn’t matter, but… $15K for a microwave system is probably more than I need. At the same time, I’m willing to invest much more than the $100 to get into a Radio Shack wavecom junior.

    Ideas?

To be honest I have always rented gear and let the pros handle it. No matter what wireless system you look at there will be a learning curve, and then the need for one of your crew to monitor it on-site . Way too much overhead for me ..

    Andy,

I agree. This is definately something that can be screwed up by newbies. The company I used to work for hired Token Creek mobile production. They do stuff for Golf Channel, ESPN, etc.
