  Decklink + Virtual VTR

  Okay,

  So currently we’re using a DigitalBetacam player as a AV-source and timecode generator in a live show. All the other effects are synced to it’s time code.

  There’s a couple of reasons why we’re elimminating the digibeta player. Te most importand is the step towards HD content.

  So we’re thinking about a getting a set of Mac’s with Blackmagic’s Decklink Hardware. Running virtual vtr, and chasing the timecode delivered by an other souce.

  Anyone with a good or bad experience using a similar setup for deckreplacement?
