    Hello All,

I was contacted last night about recording an original play being done by a local non-profit group tomorrow. With such short notice (haven’t decided yet whether or not to accept the job) I would only be able to do a two camera. My question though is how would some of you price this? I know I should calculate my costs and go from there, but I am still a relative neophyte at all this, and this one is a little different from the weddings and dance recitals I have done. Feedback as always is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Allen

Stage plays are much harder to shoot. Firts of all, the lighting will present many interesting situations for you. On top of that, the audio may be a mess. And for a play to be interesting on the screen, you will need to edit in some close up shots because people are so used to seeing them in the movies. This means that both cameras will have to be manned . Just some things to consider. The price depends on what the market will bear.
