  making paint pour

  I have to do a commercial for a hardware store that is having a paint sale. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make it look like paint is pouring either into or out of paint cans? I’m using AE 5.0.

  Lee,

  Not sure if it’s available in AE 5 – however use a combination of waves and caustics and you’ll produce photo-realistic results.

  I have a similar request. I need photo-real paint pouring out of a can in 3D space. Something better looking than the Mr. Mercury plug-in required for this client. Thanks for any help.
