Your footage very likely came into AE via PPro, using a Dynamic Link routine. Try a simple copy-paste from PPro into AE.

This is rather odd. Howzabout a reboot + check to ensure that your HDs have sufficient space. ALso, is there anything peculiar with the file format/CODEC?

I’m having the same issue with applying Warp Stabilizer. It just sits there not analyzing and every so often when I retry i get the “unable to obtain dynamic link connection” or “unable to get rendered frame” message.

Sounds like some antivirus or firewall software may be blocking some of AE’s functions. Warp Stabilizer (and some of the other new toys) actually use networking protocols to do their thing (don’t ask me why).
