  Pixelate Image Effect?

  Is there an effect that will simulate the a digital image breaking up? Sometimes when a high-def TV gets a weak signal the moving image breaks up into square blocks of various sizes. The Mosaic effect can pixelate an image but I’m after this more random breaking up of a moving image into blocky chunks of various sizes.

  For a quick fix you can find some preset projects- do a google search and you’ll get a few sources.

  Thanks. That might do the trick. I am going for a sort of collage effect, as though the image is made of up fragments that are a bit out of alignment.
