  animate gunshot

  Hi,
  I’m working on a clip involving a guy shooting a gun. It was filmed using a toy gun with the person simply doing the appropriate shaking hand movement each time they fire. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I could add realistic (or just cool) looking flashes to the end of the barrel each time a shot is fired? I’m using AE 6.5 and i’m fairly new to it so whatever solution would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
