  a pendule fall

  hey all

  im working on an animation where i have a stick figure man that as to fall in a pendular shape. Its suppose to look like he is falling out of a railing and swinging back and forth on under it. You side the railing from the side.
  I have the man in a pre comp but im stuck with the rope. What i need is to have the rope stuck to a certain point on the screen but follow the man swinging. I have no idea and have not been able to find anything about it.
  Any ideas?
