Can’t undo keyframe animations
I haven’t slept in a couple of days so maybe my brain is just putty right now but I am having the most trouble with animating a null object. I have my camera parented to a 3d null object and for some reason it is creating what I believe are roving keyframes. I know how to enable roving keyframes and thought I knew how to disable them but not tonight apparently. What’s really strange (to me anyway) is that I can’t undo any changes I make to existing keyframes. What am I missing?

Are you sure you have roving keyframes? Your first and last keyframe would be normal and the all the in-between keyframes would be circles that auto-adjust when you move the first and last keyframe. If they are roving, you just need to select all your keyframes, right click on them and go to “rove across time” and uncheck it.

Well I must not be roving. The keyframes look normal and I’ve tried changing the interpolation on each, but to no avail. Also, the roving across time option is not selected. The reason I even mentioned roving was because usually the roving option in the interpolation menu is grayed out, but not in this case. I can’t seem to alter any keyframes on this one particular layer without simply deleting and creating new ones. I’m perplexed!

Exactly what action is occuring that you want to eliminate. Without seeing your project, my first thought is a “boomeranging” problem with the camera, but it sounds like you checked that.
If you have the time, why not make a copy of the project, delete everything but the camera and null(put some kind of tag near the problem keyframes) and upload it here. I can take a quick look and see if I notice anything unusual.

I think I’ve figured out the culprit. When I disable Trapcode Form the problem goes away! The keyframes move normally and undo once again works. Very strange, very strange indeed. I’ll have to report this to Red Giant but I certainly appreciate your help!
