  Adobe Encore CS5 not opening

  I am getting really annoyed as every time I try to open Encore it hangs up when it gets to transcoding on the start up of program.

  It is also impossible to delete or stop even using task manager. The only way to kill is to force the PC to shut down.

  A few times I have been lucky and the dynamic link has got me from Premier Pro CS5 to Encore but now it just will not work.

  I was wondering whether to look into removing Premier Pro and then reinstalling to get a fresh start but was concerned if that would lose all the projects in both Premier Pro and Encore.

  I am no PC expert but have been using the program and earlier versions for many years without problems.

  I have been unwell and just started using again and it was working properly until last week when it just will not allow me to open Encore directly or via Premier Pro.

  I hope this explains things and if anybody has a way of sorting out I would love to hear from the.
