  Menu Pixel Aspect Ratio – Better quality with PAR 1.0 (1024×576)???

  Hi everyone

  It’s been a few years since I’ve worked with Encore and I’m having trouble designing a 16:9 menu. First of all, I’m not the one creating the graphics, another guy is giving me the PS file. He sent me a 1024×768 PAR 1.0 file. That one looks good in Encore (apart from two slices of black on either side). But when I, following Adobe specifications, try to convert it to 720×576 PAR 1.46 it looks much worse than the 1024 PAR 1.0 menu in Encore’s preview. Which one is the right way?
