I’m trying to export a scene from c4d r13 into after effects cs5.5

Works fine except the lights don’t come over. I’ve downloaded the latest plug-in from Maxon, and followed the usual procedure. I save an ae project file with 3d data checked, and import it into ae. The lights aren’t coming over.

    Any ideas?

Just noticed, the camera is importing fine, but not the lights. They are omni lights – I only want their 3d data to position some things in ae.

see if “include 3d data” is checked on(c4d) under save project files options…

Yeah, it’s checked. must be something to do with the lights, because the camera is coming over fine.

Fixed it. I had checked “No Illumination” on the lights in c4d, as I only needed them to position flares in AE. Having that checked prevents the lights from exporting.
