anamorphic lens flares?
I’m trying to achieve realistic looking lens flares. However it looks really fake in panning/moving shots. Anybody have any tips?

A real lens-flare would change positions in the image whenever the camera moves. If the camera pans right, the flare appears to move towards the left of the frame.
You’ll need to track the source of the virtual “light” that causes the flare and then attach whatever you’re using to generate the flare to the tracker.
