  Encore CS4 crashing while attempting to make timeline

  Hello,

  I am having issues using Encore CS4. I’ve been tasked with creating a looping DVD for a tradeshow, but I can’t seem to get my Premiere Pro sequence to turn into a timeline that Encore can work with.

  I use Adobe Dynamic Link to import the Premiere Pro sequence, and then right click and select “New Timeline’ when the asset is done importing. Immediately after I click Timeline, though, Encore stops responding and I have to force quit the program. Encore has given me grief before, but never when I’m just trying to convert a sequence into a timeline.

  If it helps any, I’ve had trouble with this project for some time. I’ve had to make it from scratch at least twice because Adobe Media Encoder couldn’t export it without crashing.

  Also, I’m not sure what sort of system specifications are necessary for diagnosis, so I’ll wait to see if anyone responds before posting a bunch of useless information.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.
