  Using Media Encoder – Widescreen issues

  I bring in Anamorphic SD video, I “interpret footage”, conforming to SD Widescreen, I use a custom preset with WS (16×9) selected —— Just as in CS 4 (we have used for a couple of years), everything works great, it is flagged – it is beautiful transcoding inside Encore.

  Here is my issue: Now in CS5, I can elect to use Adobe Media Encoder with “transcode now” and the speed is amazing. HOWEVER, even with the same process and setting as described above, Media Encoder uses MPEG2 DVD default preset and my video comes out pillar boxed. I CAN MANUALLY set a preset in Media Encoder as WS and it does fine like Encore ….. so can anyone tell me how to force Media Encoder to do right through Encore? Hope this makes sense.

  BTW, I am on Win 7, 12GigRam, HexCore using Production Suite CS5.5
