  Encore writing 16:9 video at 4:3!

  I’m fairly new to Encore (although I have been using Premiere Pro for a while now – all CS4) and I tried it repeatedly but Encore seems to be writing a 16:9 video file as a 4:3 file although the 16:9 radio button is selected in the properties tab, and greyed out.

  I’ve tried two methods to bring in files for the timeline: Dynamic link with PrPro; and importing a video file previously exported via PrPro>Media Encoder.

  Nothing seems to be rectifying this problem and, yes, it is terribly annoying!

  PC – right click on assest, Interpret footage as, conform to SD NTSC Widescreen (1.2121)

  That should solve.
