I hope this is not a duplicate post. My apologies if it is.

I have been asked to capture and transfer 5 VHS videotapes that are about 2 hours each. (10 hours of video)

My client has requested that I put all of this video on one (1) Blu ray disc. A BD disc that can be played on a Blu ray player.

I have had some trouble trying to figure out a workflow for this. I want to author this disc with a menu to select any of the 5 programs. I also want to possibly have an option to be able to put as many hours of video on just one BD disc for future offerings to clients.

So essentially I want to create a Blu ray disc but with only standard definition video.

The goal is to put as many hours of SD video on a single BD disc.

I know it’s possible but I would like some input on a good workflow, best settings for capture and export, etc.

I am a Final Cut Studio 3 user but I have recently purchased Adobe Premiere with Encore.

I also have Toast 10 with BD plug in.

I wish DVD Studio Pro supported Blu ray but that obviously is not the case.

I certainly would like to capture and export from Final Cut since I am most versed in that program.

So any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you!
