  DVD Authoring for Final Cut Pro X

  Hello everyone,

  I’d like to burn to DVD my FCPX projects but I was not able to find a good DVD authoring tool, without DVDSP. I don’t need great performances for what concerns the menu or other things, but I want my video to look as nicer as possible.
  I saw that I can export the video using Compressor in a suitable format for DVD, but I don’t know which software to use then to burn it to DVD.

  You can just use he disc utility if all you need is burning. DVDSP didn’t quit working. Why can’t you just use that?

  You can burn with compressor, just set the “job action” to burn a DVD when the job finishes.

  I can’t use DVDSP because I don’t have it. I bought only Final Cut Pro X with Motion and Compressor.
  I know I can use Compressor but I’d like some software with more options for themes, backgrounds for menus and other like this.

  Is there any software to use the output files from compressor obtained with DVD option, and then create a good DVD menu and burn it?

  You’re in the Encore thread…LOL! Its your only option here since Apple decided to be Jack Asses and take your options away.

  I thought Apple was selling FCP 7 again? Thats your best bet

  Export your edit to compressor. Create you mpeg2 files.
  Import them into Adobe Encore.
  Author your DVD as you see fit.
  Burn Disc.
