  Encore Motion Menu keeps encoding as interlaced!!

  Hi. First time poster.

  I’ve got this nagging problem and I cant figure our how to fix it!

  I am making a DVD (not BluRay) of all (shot HD – downgraded to wide SD)progressive footage.
  The menu is video with the actor talking about the menu options. The menu options are to the right of him.
  (Its also SD Wide Progressive.)

  I can burn the DVD and the menu footage looks great… along with all the menu video features.

  When I add a overlay for the cursor picker, the menu goes Interlaced!!! And its driving me nuts!!!!!!!
  I have tried everything.
  Exported from Premiere into Adobe Media Encoder.
  Then making sure Encore it doesnt re-encode.
  Fail!
  I’ve tried different codecs… including uncompressed AVI and letting Encore encode it progressive on its own.

  AND NOTHING helps!!!!! What am I doing wrong?

  PLEASE HELP!
