• Adobe Encore DVD

  movie format for dvd PAL

  Hi,

  I was asked to do a menu for a clip DVD. No problem with that thanks to several tutorials (thx for them). The clips are mostly .flv and some .avi and when I build the DVD I got the message that “one” movie isn”t mpeg format. The disk was burned anyway only it doesn”t work either on my pc or the player. Do i have to convert the clips first? and if so, which software can I use? I’m working with Adobe Production Suite CS5 on Win 7.

  moses,
  it´s a common workflow within DVD-authoring to encode your assets prior starting the authoring.

  there are several encoder, if you don´t like adobe media encoder.
