  Encore universal?

  This is a very newb question,

  I haven’t authored a DVD for sometime personally. I usually do motion graphics and am separated from this process. But I’ve been asked to create a master DVD for replication.

  My question are:

  1. Is an Encore DVD authoring universal with all DVD players? When I was in school years back there were issues with some programs.

  2. Also I’m burning a DVD with 16:9. 24p specs. Will a SD DVD player automatically letter box it and play it at 24 fps progressive?
