Hi, Im trying to create an interactive film on a DVD, with simple buttons (go left, go right etc)leading to the corresponding scenes. I don’t know which software would be best to do this in…. I have tried adobe encore once (the only time i have used it), and failed miserably.

My scenes are only about 1 minute in length, approx 10 scenes.

Which software would you recommend to create this in?
    Thanks

I would do it with adobe encore, after effects and photoshop.

Create a transition in AE for the end of the scene where you can choose to go left and right.

Use a frame from the scene where you have to choose to build you menu. With the transitions, I.E. a with fog over the scene and the buttons to choose left or right appear.

Then you crate a new transition where the fog disappears and the movie continued with the choose of the viewer.
