  • How do I delete a button that is creating a dead link

Several years ago I set up a template that I use every time I create a DVD. Recently I accidentally saved a project over my template. The only issue that I have is that in the project that overwrote my template I have a button that is unused that is giving me an error when I check my project. How do I remove this button?

I always put the word PLAY on the splash screen and I then right click that text and say create button. I always do this AFTER saving my template as a real job because I don’t know where the button will be on the splash screen.

I’m trying to use a incomplete project to recreate my template and all is good except for the fact that I can’t remove the “button”. I have deleted the text that says PLAY…but the characteristics of the button remain and give the error.

Hopefully this is making sense to someone. If not ask me to clarify and I will.
