    Hello,

I have created a video DVD with a lot of slide shows, video clips and pages of menus.

It works perfectly on PC, MAC and TV video player.

On PC and MAC, the navigation in the menus is OK.

But I have a problem of navigation with the remote control on TV :
although the buttons of menus are well listed in ENCORE CS3 in the order which appears on the TV screen, the remote control device skips over some lines when using the “>” or “down” keys .
However, it is possible to go back with the “up”” or “<” keys , but the logic is not obvious to grasp.

The configurations of buttons seem identical in ENCORE CS3.
By looking at the properties of the buttons, I see that we can assign them a type : normal, chapter, previous, next, main (as I work with the French version, the translation may be inadequate !).
Is there anything to do with my problem of navigation on TV ?

As the menus were created with PHOTOSHOP, I’m wondering if the order of the layers in this soft influences the navigation in ENCORE ?

    hi,
I guess you,ve chosen the automatic button-routing, and haven´t done it manually!

that could be the reason why your menu-buttons behave like that.

    cheers
