I’ve created a motion menu with text created in After Effects and the Photoshop button appears while the animation is playing.

Idealy, I’d like for the After Effects text behind the button to reach its destination before the Photoshop button layer appears on the menu.

Is there any way to have the button fade in or just appear at a certain point in time?

or, if not what other techniques could I use to ‘reveal’ my button?

    Thanks in advance.

Just to make sure I understand,
    1. Your AE animation is of the text flying into position.
    2. What you are calling the “Photoshop Button” is just the subpicture highlight labeled (=1) Hlt or something .

If that’s the case then you just have to set the “Loop point” in the menu “motion tab” to a time shortly after the text settles into position.

Since you don’t want the text flying in when you return to this menu from another menu (say returning from the Scenes Menu to the Play all Scenes Menu) you would need a second menu without the motion for the return menu. YOu could check this out and see if it helps.
