  • Encore CS5 Chapter Index losing routing.

    Hi,

I’ve just upgraded from Encore 2 to CS5 and am now having a worrying issue.

In version 2, I would create the template chapter page with custom routing, then create a chapter index. The values for the routing are carried over to each page.

In Encore CS5 none of the routing information gets carried over and I have to fix them all seperately!

Is this a bug? An oversight? Or am I missing something?

    Cheers

    Dan

When you create a chapter index, the previous and next buttons don’t always carry over to the next menu (for example, the first menu will not have a previous, and the last menu will not have a next). When buttons don’t exist, Encore does not carry over the routing for them, and it messes things up. It is kind of a bug, as Adobe could implement a better algorithm for modifying the button routing when creating chapter index menus.
