I created all of my titles in Boris3D for my film and now my post-production guy just realized that you can’t import Boris titles into Encore. Do you know if there are any tricks to this? Is there any quicker/better process than redoing all the titles (for a 35 min movie) in Encore? I also hear that Encore can be imprecise when subtitling. Anyone know about that?

    Thanks!

Export all your Boris titles as still images and name them “image_01.jpg”. Now create an image script using any text editor.
Encore can import the images as subtitles using the script.

    Example:
    Display_Area (000 000 720 480)
    directory /Users/raja/Desktop/Subtitles/

    1 00;00;04;17 00;00;05;00 image_01.jpg
    2 00;00;05;27 00;00;10;01 image_02.jpg

Instead of .jpg, you can also export them as .psd or .gif to preserve the transparency (alpha channel).
