  Buttons don’t show up properly in standard def

  I’m using Encore CS3 and I’ve encountered a strange problem.

  I’m doing a wedding DVD for some friends, and I’ve noticed that when played back in a DVD player with standard def connection on a standard def TV, my button highlights on the main menu don’t show up properly, so you don’t know what link from the main menu you are selecting.

  But when played back in a DVD player with an HD connection on an HD tv, the highlights show up just fine. What is causing this? I know for a fact that the bride/groom and their families don’t have HD tvs so they won’t be able to enjoy their wedding DVD properly.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated
