The first play of my DVD works as expected. It goes through my entire ‘first play’ menu and then loops a few times at the loop point (14 seconds into the base menu). That is working fine; however, whenever I hit the Menu button on my remote, it starts back at the very beginning of the first play video. I want it to start 14 seconds into that point.

    My current settings:
    Timeline’s End Action: MenuPage:FirstChapterBtn
    Timeline’s Menu Remote: MenuPage:FirstChapterBtn
    Disc’s First Play: MenuPage:Default
    Disc’s Title Button: MenuPage:FirstChapterBtn

    There are no overrides.

I will admit, that most of the above were originally set to MenuPage:Default, and I have NOT ‘Reverted to Original’ on any of my transcoded assets. I am using the Preview button to see if any changes occur, but it always starts at the very beginning when I hit the Remote Control Title button, menu button, or end action.

I’m thinking I need to revert one of my assets. Would that be the menu, the main movie timeline, or both? I hate to have to re-transcode for this minor change.

    Thanks,
    Pauley

When setting the link, go to “Specify Link”, then set your link to the appropriate menu, and check off “Set to Loop Point” at the bottom.

Silly me. I didn’t read far enough down the options list it seems. I thought it would be part of the menu choices. Thanks a lot – I was afraid I was missing something obvious.
