  Blu Ray render time

  We are about to undertake our first Blu-Ray project, on a very tight deadline. We will be provided with 2+ hours of HDV material on a hard-drive. Editing will be done in either Premiere or Edius and authored in Encore. Final 720i Blu-Ray disc will be under two hours long.

  Using a reasonably powered PC with Core 2 CPU, any estimates on how long it will take to …..

  1. Export from Editing program to Encore
  2. Render in Encore for Blu Ray
  3. Burn to typical Blu-Ray burner.
