What if I want to create a menu page in which the viewer is given the option simply to listen to audio tracks from the movie? Perhaps even a “Play All” button?

There are a total of 5 audio tracks.

Is it possible to create such a menu page without then having to create 5 more individual menu pages (one for each audio track)?

    Hopefully my question makes sense.

In DVD-Video, a menu may contain a single video and audio track.

You could create the illusion of this by duplicating the menus, but adding different audio tracks to each one, and then linking your buttons to their respective menus.

Then each time the user clicks on an audio file the screen will go black for a split second and then the new menu (with the same background) will appear, right? I guess there’s no other way.

I was just hoping to avoid the screen going black for that split second.

    Thanks.

[Jon Finster] “Then each time the user clicks on an audio file the screen will go black for a split second and then the new menu (with the same background) will appear, right? I”

You’ll see that in Encore Preview mode, but if you burn a disc and test it in a DVD player, you won’t see any black – just one menu to the next.
