  Encore CS4 Blu-ray Menu Buttons

  Hi,

  I’m authoring an interactive blu-ray kiosk in Encore CS4 on an Intel Mac.

  Encore will only allow 18 buttons per menu. I need 21. My session specs are 1080i, 29.97, H.264. Thanks for any advice.

  Unfortunately, you are stuck. 18 buttons is the limit for 16:9 menus (on DVD), but Encore’s Blu-ray menus have the same limitation.

  You could work around it by creating two menus, and link one of the buttons on the first menu to the second menu, and have it auto-activate (and vice-versa with the second menu). This could be made to appear seamless to the end user, except if they view it on a software BD player, in which case they would need to click the button to get to the next or previous menu.
