Button Routing playing asset in error
Greetings,
Just curious if anyone has ever run into the issue (and found the solution for) of a button incorrectly playing a video. What i have is a menu with 10 buttons lined up in a vertical row. When it goes to #10, if I push down on the remote, it begins to play #1. What I am looking for is to have the highlight jump back to #1, not play the video. Any ideas?
Ok, I seem to be good at stumbling upon the answer right after I post here. 😛 The first button had “auto Activate” selected. I should start with the most likely reasoning first. 😛 (Maybe get a kid to look)

You only use auto-activate if you want to have the button execute its link when it is selected (not activated/clicked, but just selected). I think that may be part of your problem…is this what you want to happen?
The other part of your problem is button routing…if Encore’s default button routing is not what you want, then you must manually route your buttons.
