  total menu size overpass the limit? why?

  Hi, I’m trying to create a DVD presenting a range of products, with four levels of menus and under-menus. There are 7 menus all together (1 >> 1 >> 3 >> 2), I’ve got 800 Mo of video material separated in 14 different AVI-files (the 800Mo is the size once compressed by Encore in 4Mb VBR), 3 still pictures and 9 .wav audio files.

  First, when they say that each “class” of files must be under 1Gb, does it mean that I can’t create a DVD with more than 1Gb of video (compressed video I mean…).

  Second, does anybody get any idea why I’m overpassing the menu size limit? It doesn’t look like I’m using a lot of material, isn’t it? The total length of my footage is less than 20 min… Isn’t a DVD able to welcome 2h of High-Quality video?

  Please help, I’ve spent 3 days already on this and I can’t get out of it!!!

  Menus cannot exceed 1 GB on any DVD. Your motion menus are too large.
