Particular Compositing
Hello CreativeCow again.
I’ve been having some troubles compositing a Particle inside of AE and i was wondering if u had any idea of how to solve this problem.
If i recall properly i’ve heard or read somewhere (Probably on Redgiant site) that there’s a way of compositing the particle in 3D with a “REAL” depth position. What i mean is for instance this.
When u create a new particle in this case i used a normal particle that follows the emitter (Light) and that Emitter it’s parented to a null object. The particle won’t work properly on the depth..
For instance the starting point it’s 345,22, 300,356, 0,0 and my Shape it’s at -210,027, 36,119, -95,521 wich is further in the back so when the particle it’s at the first keyframe it should show a line (IN FRONT) of the shape and then show at the BACK of the shape.
I’ve been tweaking the “Visibility” settings for the particle but coulnd’t figure out what’s happening. Here’s a quick drawing of what’s happening (If the description above din’t explain it properly ^^U)

Thnx Again for your Help.
EDIT: forgot to mention that changing the layers order won’t fix the problem it just will make it reverse. If u put it on top it will be on the back (THe particle) and if u put it on the back it will be on front. (The particle)
