  • Interlacing/Ghosting Problems between PPro CS3 and Encore CS3

I have an AE CS3 project I have imported into Premiere Pro CS3. Footage shot Panasonic 720PNative P2 format.

Basically I shot a bunch of chroma keyed footage I want to be moving horizontally across the screen.

Footage looks great in AE and in Premiere Pro CS3.

When I export it to Encore CS3 to make a DVD I get what looks like the footage has been deinterlacing, drawing half of it to the left, and constantly trying to “catch up” with itself. Almost like a slight double vision or ghosting.

I am fine paying money for a plugin if I need to in order to get it fixed. I just need to know the exact process to perfect looking footage.

    Thank you!
    Justin.

    Some questions:

    1. What are your project settings in Pr?
    2. What are your export settings in Pr?

(NB: for 1 and 2, please be as exact and complete as possible)

    3. What are your Encore project settings?
    4. What transcode settings are being used by Encore for your Pr clips?
    5. Have you burned a DVD-RW or a BD-RE and tested how things look on a hardware player?
