• Adobe Encore DVD

  DVD Writer Not Detected

  Encore 1.0 and Premiere Pro 7.0 do not recognize or cannot detect DVD Burner. Encore shows a blank window under “Writer” with no drop down option to select device. How can I get Encore to recognize Burner? Thanks for any help you can provide.

  Do you have any background processes running, like DLA modules from Roxio or Nero? They would most likely show up as tray icons that let you copy files directly to disc, treating your burner like another hard drive.

  Disable those type of background programs or Encore won’t be able to see or access your burner.

  There may be other issues. Please download the free program ImgBurn. Launch it and go to Tools>Filter Driver Load Order. Press the “Copy to Clipboard” button and then paste the contents here.
