  Getting menu buttons to work correctly with DVD player remote buttons

  Hi, I have a project pretty much worked out in Encore, but there is one thing I am hung up on that I can’t seem to get to work.

  I have a menu page with a list of buttons leading to different chapters. When you use the up and down arrows to move up and down through the menu buttons, for some reason, some of the buttons get skipped over, or you need to press the side arrows to access them.

  I looked in the options for the buttons, but didn’t see anything. Also, I thought it might be something with how they are graphically arranged, but I tried to line them up as straight as possible, and this didn’t seem to change anything either. I can’t find anything about this in the manual.

  How do I get the menu buttons to work properly with the remote?

  Go to the Menu properties and uncheck “Automatically Route Buttons”, then manually route your buttons.

  For more info on that, search the help for “button routing”.
