menu loop problem
hello , my first attampts here with dvd authoring using encore cs3.
i made a menu with a little loop , with 6 buttons for chapters
and 1 link to another texted menu with 1 button for return.
made a video background for the menu about 45 secs and set to loop forever , all links point to timelines movies as chapters and all ends point to menu1 ,
in rendered preview all seems looping forever and ok.
also ther is a dvd rom files directory added in build,
burning with imgburn after export to iso image
while playing on a general dvd player , Graetz , the menu acts pretty random on the looping! if untouched at all is looping for few times , but if i watch a movie and change highlighted option it does not loop , only play once and then stops cd completely. the end points for movies are good , it does return to the menu , with the same highlighted button marked.
on dvd drive on 2 computers it does not act like this , watching with media player classic and windows media player its forever loop the menu.
ok that as detailed as i can explain , seen it happens to others but not exactly like this , and seems to be weird problem. help? 🙂 -

Do you have any overrides set, anywhere?
Have you tried it on different hardware DVD players?
What brand of blank media are you using?

hey
i havnt tryd it yet on another dvd hardware ,
only player and 2 pc drives dvds with media player.
i use an hp lightscribe dvds for this project , its a most.
but i do have one printed on a normal verbatim , i will try it later
and no , no overrides in any button/menu …
