  MENU SIZES IMPORTED FROM PHOTOSHOP

  am in the process of updating my showreel and wondered if anyone could possibly help me with a pixel aspect issue that is infuriating my tiny brain. I built all menus in photoshop in the following format PAL 1024 X 576 SQUARE PIXELS, the results look fantastic until I come to write the disk, the final results are slightly blurred and pixelated and leads me to believe that i’m originating the menus in the incorrect format (possibly 720 x 576 1.42 but this looks dodgy)

  What version of Encore?

  If CS3, then PAL 720×576 (1.42) is the correct size to use in Photoshop. If it looks terrible, where does it look terrible? PS? Encore? Encore’s preview? Burned disc? All of the above?

  And could you please define “dodgy”? 🙂
