  encore subtitles not updating!!! HELP

  Hello,
  I’m working on this project, and of course, it’s due today, and I’ve encountered a major problem.

  I’ve subtitled a short video with six subtitle tracks. After finding some errors in the translations, I fixed them. When I preview the fixes inside of the project, and in the preview mode, I see my subtitles updated.
  HOWEVER, when I burn to DVD (or DVD folder) the fixes are not updated. Well, some are updated, while others are not.

  I “saved as..” and started with a new project, but that didn’t make a difference. I’ve tried all the obvious fixes, I think, and nothing has worked.

  Has anyone heard of this issue? PLEASE HELP!!

  Try this:

  Select all of your subtitles in the track. Change the kerning or leading of the font, then Undo.

  This should force all of the subtitles to update. Save your project and burn an RW disc to test.

  Let us know how it works out.

  Thank you very much for your reply! I tried this on each of the tracks, and I think this worked! I have been able to verify that many of of the defects are now fixed.
