• Adobe Encore DVD

  default burner

  Greetings…

  Does anyone have any advice regarding the default burner in Encore CS3? Encore keeps defaulting to the CD burner instead of the DVD burner. This is killing the direct DVD burns from Premiere. I can not seem to find a way to specify the burner from Premiere or change the Encore default to the DVD burner.

  I think you have to make the DVD burner the Primary device on the IDE bus.

  This involves physically changing its position on the ribbon cable.

  Hi Jeff-

  Thank you for your response. I took you advice and the burns are working smoothly now. It is odd that you can’t specify the burner through the software- perhaps in the next release.
